Office Manager
SoShan graduated from San José State University with a Bachelor of Science in business. During her last semester of attending San José State University, she was asked by her dentist if she would be interested in becoming his dental practice office manager. Since then, SoShan has been a fantastic part of our team here at DentalZone!

Ly Huynh, RDH
Dental Hygienist
Ly Huynh was born in Vietnam and has lived in the Bay Area for over 20 years. After eight years of working as a registered dental assistant in prosthodontics and oral surgery, and receiving an Associate Degree of Science in Dental Assisting from Carrington College, Ly decided to become a hygienist. Ly holds three licenses in the state of California: Registered Dental Hygiene, Registered Dental Assistance and Registered Orthodontic Assistance, as well as a Diode Laser Certificate from the World Clinical Laser Institute. Ly works well under pressure, takes action according to protocol and has a calm and reassuring presence that can alleviate a patient’s anxieties.
In her free time, Ly enjoys cooking and traveling. Ly devotes her time to her family, supporting both her parents. She lives with her husband, daughter and their two birds.

Jitka Wood, RDH
Dental Hygienist
Jitka Wood was born in Jihlava, Czech Republic, where she studied accounting. Jitka moved to the Bay Area when she was 26 years old and attended school, receiving her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene from Chabot College. Jitka holds a Registered Dental Hygiene license and a Diode Laser Certificate. She has been told she has expert communication, a gentle touch and excellent clinical and interpersonal skills. Jitka specializes in treating periodontal disease and helping doctors in diagnosing patients.
In her free time, Jitka enjoys traveling, hiking and spending time with her two dogs.

Diego Gonzalez
Registered Dental Assistant
Diego has been a dental assistant since 2016. He found a home at Palo Alto Dental Care after he finished high school and received his first dental assisting diploma from the Central County Occupational Center. Diego later went on to attended San Jose City College, where he acquired his second dental assisting diploma.
